👀 Spotted: Our amazing CNA students putting their skills into action, thanks to the invaluable training from Nurse Borg! 🩺✨ These students are diving into hands-on learning, mastering skills they’ll carry for a lifetime. With Nurse Borg’s guidance, they're getting workforce-ready, one lesson at a time. We’re so proud of their hard work and dedication to becoming the best caregivers out there! 💪🌟 #FutureCNAs #CareerReady #ThankYouNurseBorg

On Thursday, October 31st, eight SkillsUSA members volunteered to help out our local CVA for the CVA Farmer's Tailgate. These students worked hard to pack up and hand out meals to farmers weighing in at CVA. US92 Radio was also broadcasting this event and a few SkillsUSA members were interviewed about SkillsUSA and also plans after graduation. We want to thank CVA for the opportunity to help out, for the in-depth tour of the local CVA facility after the tailgate, and for information about future career opportunities.

The elementary students and staff took a little time out of the Birthday Assembly last Friday to celebrate some awesome educators who model P2 Strengths every day! Although we won't always have an inflatable chicken to help us hand out these awards, it certainly made Friday's assembly extra fun!
Mrs. Lamprecht was nominated for always showing the Other People Mindset. She embraces each day with a smile and a positive attitude that is infectious to anyone lucky enough to be around her.
Mrs. Steinman was nominated for her use of creativity in the classroom. Walking into Mrs. Steinman's room is such a joy, and the way she makes learning fun and engaging for her students is something they remember for years!
Mrs. Bowers was nominated for the character strength of teamwork. She jumped right into this school year as our new Speech and Language Pathologist ready to work with teachers and students to help them meet their goals.
Thank you to these three educators, and all who work to teach and model our P2 Character Strengths each day!

We are excited to celebrate six amazing staff members, voted by our students in grades 7-12 for showcasing their unique strengths which were covered within the Positivity Project during the month of October.
Mr. Hassler, our Art teacher, displays creativity as he consistently brings fresh ideas and unique projects that challenge students to think outside the box and discover new ways of expressing themselves.
Mrs. Aguirre, our ELL and Art teacher, embodies creativity. She not only guides her students to grow as artists and become their best selves but also inspires English Language Learners to approach life creatively by embracing the journey of lifelong learning.
Mr. Rex Hansen, our Maintenance Director, exemplifies integrity, always stepping up to resolve issues around the school with initiative and dedication. His behind-the-scenes efforts ensure that the school operates seamlessly, allowing students and staff to focus on learning and growth.
Mrs. Borg, our Math teacher, displays the strength of integrity. She approaches her students with genuine care, consistently checking to ensure they truly understand, rather than just moving forward. By holding herself to the highest standards of integrity, she encourages her students to meet those same standards, fostering an environment of trust and respect.
Mrs. Dather, our Science teacher, radiates the strength of forgiveness, understanding that growth often comes from mistakes, and her students feel safe to learn and grow under her guidance.
Mr. Trenhaile, our ELL Interventionist, embodies the strength of perspective, seeing value in the unique ways each student views the world. His ability to understand and appreciate different points of view enables him to connect with all his students, particularly his English Language Learners.
Thank you to these incredible staff members for going above and beyond to make our school community a better place! 🙌 #StaffAppreciation #OtherPeopleMindset
