On the evening of Monday, May 28th, the seniors came together for one of the last times- the senior cookout. Everyone brought plenty of food to share. Mikkie and Adrian were the grill masters. Embarrassing stories, best memories, and good times were shared. The weather was bad, but that didn't dampen the seniors' fun, they stayed inside the school and played "Sardines" which is essentially reverse hide and seek. The laughter, the chaos, the hiding spots (seriously, how did Timothy fit behind those mats?!) made the night unforgettable. Seniors, you’re the best mix of heart and hilarity, and we’re going to miss you. Just a day and a half left—finish strong!

On Monday, April 26th, the seniors hit the road for an unforgettable school-sponsored field trip. The seniors took off for Thunder Road in Sioux Falls to enjoy a variety of activities. These activities included the 7D movie theater, laser tag, bowling, arcade games, and bumper cars. The day wrapped up with a special stop at Sidelines, where our seniors made their mark—literally—by signing the brand-new Wakefield High School graduates’ wall. As the countdown to graduation begins, we couldn’t be prouder of this incredible group. The future’s looking bright, Class of 2025—go shine!
